Physician notes

PUPS EHR Software can accommodate physician notes by giving the physician access to the software to enter notes, or by giving staff the ability to scan and upload physician notes into the individual's PUPS account.

Medication records

PUPS maintains medication records for all individuals including current and discontinued meds. This is accomplished through a software connection to the prescriber or the pharmacy, or by allowing staff to enter the medication list. The Medication Administration Record (MAR) can be generated on paper or recorded electronically (EMAR) in PUPS EHR Software. PUPS also maintain medication allergy information.

Medical conditions

PUPS EHR Software allows user to log ‘problems’ for each individual. The list of possible problems comes from Intelligent Medical Objects (IMO) and includes ICD-10 codes along with the description.

Number of employees and/or contracted entities with Assistive Technology Professional certificates from Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA).

Through the PUPS EHR Software Credentialing module, employers can enter all relevant certification and licensure data for their employees and contractors, including the expiration dates and copies of relevant certificates. Reports are available for all data entered into the module.


Track and report time to service after post-referral acceptance. (average number of days for service initiation)

PUPS tracks individuals pre-admission, including the date they were accepted and the date of admission and an average can be reported for a date range.

Hospitalizations

PUPS EHR Software allows staff to indicate if an individual has been hospitalized and also allows this to be reported on across multiple individuals.


Hospitalization Follow Up

PUPS EHR Software tracks when an individual returns from a hospitalization and then also tracks if an appointment is a follow up from a hospitalization so that PUPS can report on how many days between hospital and follow-up for one individual or across many individuals - including the percentage who have had a follow up in 7 and 30 days.
